Ayurveda Expo 2015,the three day International Indigenous Healthcare Exhibition opens at the BMICH Colombo today (3).
It is organised by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka in association with the Health and Indigenous Medicine Ministry, Industry and Commerce Ministry, Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Board of Investment, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Dept of Commerce and other institutions.
The exhibition held from July 3 to 5, 2015 at the BMICH from 9.00 a.m to 9.00 p.m and entrance will be free.A medical symposium consisting of international speakers will be held on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 at the BMICH where professionals, academics and researches will speak on traditional medicine.
In addition, a high powered 39 member delegation from China will attend the Exhibition.
The National Chamber has organised a Business Forum for the Chinese delegates to meet their counterparts at a Networking Lunching session starting at 12 noon to 4.30 p.m on July 3 2015 at the Chamber Auditorium 450 D. R. Wijewardene Mw, Colombo 10.
Ayurveda EXPO 2015 will focus on manufacturers of ayurveda,herbal, nature friendly health foods and beverages, health resorts and spas, ayurveda hospitals and clincs, educational institutions,yoga, acupuncture, homeopathy, beauty care products, herbal cosmetic products.
Foreign delegations from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Japan and China are expected to attend the exhibition.
