LOT Polish Airlines, the flag carrier of Poland will operate flights every other week with non stop service between Warsaw and Colombo from Thursday.Based in Warsaw, LOT was established in 1929, making it one of the world’s oldest airlines still in operation.
Using a fleet of 55 aircraft, LOT operates a complex network to 49 destinations in Europe, North America, and Asia. LOT Polish Airlines was the first European carrier to fly the Boeing 787-800 Dreamliner. LOT Polish being a member of the Star Alliance group decided to operate charter services this winter season to Colombo.
LOT Polish will depart Warsaw on Wednesday at 19.30 and arrive Colombo at 8.40 on Thursday.
Pership under the name Air Support (Pvt) Limited, who has been its GSA will handle arrangements pertaining to passenger and cargo services from Sri Lanka.
